Financial Advisor

Position Summary

Ables, Iannone, Moore and Associates is seeking a highly motivated fee only financial advisor to support the ongoing growth of the firm.

Core Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by developing referral sources, contacting prospective clients, and attaining new accounts.
  • Manage investments utilizing individual stocks and bonds to create a portfolio to meet that particular client’s risk profile and investment objectives.
  • Develop relationships with clients designed to assist them with needs outside of investments such as guidance with mortgages, referrals to CPAs and other similar activities.
  • Research equities and present investment ideas to other members of the firm as needed.
  • Participate in direct marketing and social media marketing efforts.
  • Participate in on-going firm wide projects.

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
  • Must be prepared to study for and pass Series 65 exam after joining firm.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical understanding of investment markets, securities, security data, and investment systems.
  • Excellent overall computer skills – strong ability in Microsoft Excel.

Part Time Social Media & Administrative Assistant

Position Summary

Ables, Iannone, Moore and Associates is seeking an organized and efficient individual to lead their social media marketing efforts and provide administrative assistance to support the ongoing growth of the firm

Core Responsibilities

  • Create an organized schedule to re-post articles to the firm’s various social media platforms.
  • Create proprietary content that reflects the investment management of the firm and meets regulatory requirements in order to keep the firm compliant.
  • Assist in client-facing and back-office operations of the firm on an as-needed basis.
  • Answer phones and handle operational client requests as needed.
  • Assist with filing, mailing and other general administrative duties.
  • Participate in on-going firm wide projects.

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Marketing, Finance, Communications and Journalism.
  • Must be prepared to study for and pass Series 65 exam after joining firm.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical understanding of investment markets, securities, security data, and investment systems a plus.
  • Excellent overall computer skills – strong ability in Microsoft Word, Excel and a full understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and so forth.
